  • Account details such as name, email address, phone number, age or birthday if requested, and profile details you choose to add
  • Location information you provide or allow so nearby discovery, city rollout, and Link Up coordination work properly
  • Photos, profile images, event content, chat messages, reports, and other content you upload or send through the service
  • Device, usage, diagnostics, and crash information used to operate, secure, and improve Dawg Pound
  • Support requests, safety reports, and communications you send to us

How we may use information

  • Create and manage accounts, profiles, Link Ups, chat, and related product features
  • Show relevant nearby plans, improve discovery quality, and support city-based rollout decisions
  • Provide support, troubleshoot problems, and protect the community from abuse, fraud, or unsafe behavior
  • Send product, service, safety, or account-related messages
  • Measure performance, analyze reliability, and improve the product over time

Location and visibility

Dawg Pound may use location information to help show nearby Link Ups and make the product useful in real life. Depending on the feature, information you choose to share may be visible to other users in the context of profiles, rosters, events, or chat. We aim to expose only what is reasonably necessary for coordination and trust.

Messages, content, and community safety

Messages, profiles, uploaded media, and safety reports may be reviewed as needed to investigate abuse, enforce community standards, respond to support requests, or protect users and the platform.

Sharing

Dawg Pound does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that support hosting, storage, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, or email delivery, with other users when you participate in public or shared product surfaces, or when disclosure is required by law, legal process, or safety needs.

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary to operate Dawg Pound, support accounts, resolve disputes, investigate safety issues, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our terms. Retention periods can vary depending on the type of data and the reason it was collected.

Your choices and requests

You can contact us to request support, corrections, export or deletion help, or account-related assistance. Until a self-serve deletion flow is available in-product, you can request account deletion by emailing us from the address linked to your Dawg Pound account.

Dawg Pound is not intended for children under the minimum age required by applicable law or the platform where the app is distributed. If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of these rules, contact us.

Canada and other regions

If you are located in Canada or another region with privacy rights, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of certain personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
